I really like this little guy. Normally it is hard to get excited about a charger; but this one has a nice hidden wall plug that flips out to charge. It is small, light, well built, good status LEDs. An improvement over any of the dozens of other chargers I've had.
The Charger is well worth the money, (helps make up for the over priced Canon battery).

Works as advertised. I use it when I am taping my son's Ultimate Frisbee games. I can plug it into my car inverter and charge a battery while I am using another. It is compact and the plug folds away...no cords to mess with. The battery snaps into place in the charger...plug it in and wait for the light to change color on the charger...done. The battery that comes with the Canon HG20 is okay. This battery does give me a lot more hours to play with. The only thing that I don't like is that it is a bit expensive. If you are going on a vacation or something like that then I do recommend getting this battery since it holds more power for longer recording time.Customer Review: It's a battery charger...

It does what it's supposed to do, it charges Canon BP series batteries. I have tried this with 3 different batteries (BP-807, BP-808, BP-819) and all charge fine. A must have item, if you plan on properly maintaining your batteries. Beware of imitations that don't contain the appropriate charging circuitry.Customer Review: Compact and very handy works with both my Canon Batteries

Not really much to say except that it is worth spending the money on this device so that you do not have to lug the big AC Adapter around to charge you spare battery, plus it allows me to always be on up time because I would always have at least one battery charging.
Definitely a must buy.
