I am a satisfied owner of this charger. It is simple to use, recharges my camcorder batteries in a timely fashion and best of all, it's about the size of a small bar of soap. This is an excellent alternative than with the in-camera charging or if you have multiple batteries you can charge your extras with this one. I have a total of 3 batteries for my HF100 and this will be a godsend when traveling. I bought this to charge our video camera batteries. Charging them while attached to the camera took as long as uncharging them (a 4 hour battery took 4 hours to charge). This charge cuts that in half. Small enough to fit easily in the camera bag and just plugs into a socket. Fast and easy.Customer Review: Best little charger going

I own a Canon VIXIA HFS20 and charging the battery by plugging in the full camcorder is a bit of a pain. This little dandy is small, compact and charges your batteries in record time. This recharger was great. I recharged my 809s in about 1 hour each, with no apparent life loss on the batteries after a dozen recharges.
I like the full / charging indicator lights, but would have preferred them further away from the charging battery.
