Customer Review: A must have for snorkeling

I purchased this harness set to go with my new D10 Canon. I found that the tether with the rectangular leather piece suited my needs best. I could keep the camera cinched close to my chest while diving and using the quick adjustment, release enough cord to keep the camera tethered to me, but giving me enough room to use it. This is fairly pricey for what you get. But i had to have the front covers, i didnt care for the blue that comes standard on the camera. they seem like an item that should come standard with the camera. but oh well....
the case is nice, camera slips easily in and out.
the straps i still havent quite figured out all the uses for, but im working on it. the way they clip into the camera is pretty cool. to be honest im pretty active and i havent used them yet. but i could see where they might be handy for watersports.
all in all if you are like me and just had to have the kit, then i understand. but its nothing that you will really need. you can buy just a camera case a lot cheaper.

I had to spend the money for one cable that was important for me to have. I was going to hawaii to do a ton of snorkling and I wanted the chest strap so I didn't have to worry about loosing my camera or the great pictures I was planning on taking.
I am majorly disapointed that you have to purchase everything to get one accessory that you want. However, the strap and the camera worked great. It is well worth the insurance policy of having this strap if you are snorkling in the water with this camera, but a darn shame they make you buy the rest of these worthless accessories for one good one. I guess I will have to ebay them!
