Yes, I did try the 3rd party "compatible" inks, and had to throw
them out along with the prints because of bluish tints that just would not go away no matter how I tried to adjust the printer configurations.

Especially when you're taking pictures of your babies, it's more than worth the extra money to buy the genuine Canon inks and know that the pictures will print beautifully.

Very happy with the economical Canon i470D printer and these inks that produce just beautiful, bright and vivid prints.
