The original ink made by Canon is the BEST and only way to go!
I used a "compatible" ink in my Canon Multipass F60 Printer, and within a week, there were printing problems, and now my printer is useless, even though I tried to put original Canon ink back in the printer. The cost of repair and replacing the ruined print head is more than buying a new printer! :(

For a while I used the generic ink but I found it was not beneficial to my computer and I had ink leaking, I went back to this original Canon product and have had no problems at all - my most recent machine has lasted much longer than the previous one and I don't know if the ink had anything to do with that or not - however I will stick with original ink now.Customer Review: What can I say, it's ink! Works fine in my Canon S520. Good for text or for B&W photos. I generally only buy the name brand stuff 'cause it's designed to work with the particular printheads on the machines it's used in, so they don't clog up (unless you leave them sitting for months on end)... Gets decent but not outstanding cartridge lifetime, as with many printer inks.Customer Review: GREAT INK

Don't bother with any other ink for your Canon printer. I tried cheaper ink and it was a waste of money and time. Simple documents didn't even printe right and pictures basically were a waste so I was then out on the ink and photo paper. Never again, this is great ink and works as it should. Good price and quick delivery. The product is a Canon original and not a generic which the repairman told me never to use in my Canon printer after repairing it due to ink damage from a Staples generic cartridge. I mean it ruined the print head and the main board. Thanks Amazon.Com for good service and products.
