Customer Review: GENUINE CANON INK - ALWAYS THE BEST

Having genuine Canon ink has always produced the most predictable results. I have a profiled monitor for my color work flow. Output on Kodak Professional Photo paper using ICM profiles (provided by Kodak on their website) along with genuine Canon inks gives me excellent prints on my Canon i950 (yes, it is getting up there in age, but still prints gorgeous prints).
And for several years now, I find that Amazon usually has best prices online (unless their competitor has a sale). B&H is brick-n-motor I use when I need a pack of ink at the last minute (not Staples or OfficeMax, who charges way too much).

Those of us who've used a i950 don't need to be told that they drink ink like... I don't know... like how a thirsty something drinks water. In my case, this has been a good incentive to think twice before I go to print anything. Now, this set is a true price break from what I was used to.
It's low price, free shipping... if this was a grocery item, I'd probably set it up as an Amazon subscription. If anyone is aware of a better deal anywhere - it's got to be genuine Canon ink - please leave a comment to this review and I will be more than grateful.

No problems with the ink, came very fast, ordered before 11am received it the next day. I knew that this was the ink that i needed, but just for kicks and to see if I could find anything cheaper, I used Amazons ink compatibility tool, and it insisted that this ink was the wrong ink for my printer. I have an IP4000, and am assuming later models switched to new cartridges or maybe more than one type of ink works. The website recommended ink that does not work with my printer as far as i know. Still give Amazon 5 stars for great service and shipping.Customer Review: have to use Canon ink only!!!

When we first bought our printer, we printed pictures all the time and we always bought Canon ink. A few years later, we took most of our pics to the store to print and started to buy ink cartridges that were recycled with ink (mostly from Cartridge World). The pictures from those cartridges were HORRIBLE!!! I went back to Canon brand ink cartridges and am again happy with the pictures we occasionally print at home! Also, these are compatible with our Canon Pixma iP6000, contrary to the above compatibility indicator.Customer Review: Canon Ink

Canon ink is an exceptional ink... Vibrant colors with little or no fading over time. I use it primarily for photo printing.
I've tried many "compatable" inks and have not been satisfied.. The ones I've tried had good color, but faded over time. They have also clogged my printer with regularity. In my estimation, it's the old "you get what you pay for..."
Not that any ink is cheap. I've done my homework and this Canon Multi-Pack thru Amazon is the best deal I could find...
