I purchased this printer in 2003. It has never failed me nor does it eat ink. I love to create cards and it works great for that. I created and printed all of my daughter's wedding invitations (275) in 2007. The only thing that I can say that is negative, is that I don't like the way it photo prints. I used another printer for that task. If I was purchasing an everyday workhorse that is economical, it would be the i560.Customer Review: Made by Canon

No sense in evaluating the performance of the actual cartridges. They are made by Canon, and obviously the best you can buy for your Canon printer. What makes this a good buy is obviously the price. I wound up saving $18 on the Set through Amazon.

My order for the 6-pack of genuine Canon BCI-6 ink cartridges arrived quickly from Adorama, through Amazon. The price was excellent and the cartridges worked perfectly in my Canon i960 printer. The 6-pack is very convenient since it includes one of each color, plus black. The Canon BCI-6 Ink Tank 6-Pack set saves me time and money. Instead of running out to the local office supply company I just reach for the ink that is needed and am back in business. The set is less money per tank than buying each at the office supply store and the fact that I do not have to get up from my work and drive to the store saves me time and money. Given some earlier reviews, the refills worked much better than expected. Although not attractively packaged, being shrink wrapped did nothing to affect the usability. Photo printing is very good and text printing is just fine. Like everything else, some customers may find the occasional lemon. I did not and have no qualms about ordering again. An excellent buy!
