These name brand tanks are more color accurate than SOME refill inks. Furthermore, I've had one refill ink permanently clog the tank, and the printer as well, until I performed deep cleanings on the printer with a squirt or two of alcohol. I've found one aftermarket brand ink refill that seems to flow freely. To the consumer who doesn't want to experiment in order to save money, I recommend the Canon tanks, as expensive as they are.Customer Review: stick with the best

i used canon ink and then decided to try one of the cheap imitations. it worked well for a few months and then my photos came out of my canon i900d with color changes. after 3 conversations with canon customer care, we decided it was not the printer, but the cheaper ink. i switched back to canon, bit the bullet on the price, and everything is fine. i found decent prices on amazon, particularly at eek industries.Customer Review: Cannon Ink BCI-6BK vs Generic Brands

I have had over seven different types of printers in the past 10 years, all ink-jet, and have tried all the after market Ink systems. But when you find yourself asking for the best when reproducing glossy color photographs, it's made by the Manufacture, as with Cannon. You buy a Cannon, then, use Cannon Ink, and the BCI-6BK has yet to disappoint me, where many others have, and we all love to save money.Customer Review: Canon products for less.

These Canon replacement ink cartridges for the Canon photo printers are the best deal. I have checked everywhere and nobody beats Amazon by price. I order all the colors and I get my shipment for free. The quality of Canon replacement tanks are of greater quality than other generic brands I have tried. I ordered six cartridges exclusive to my printer, allowing enough time between the time I received the warning of low ink and actually running out of ink. Unfortunately, my black ink cartridge completely ran out of ink before I received the necessary cartridges, so I was unable to print for a few days. Other than that, the cartridges themselves are of excellent quality.
