I am very pleased with the price and quality of the Canon inks I've purchased here. Same brand as the retailers, but about $5-$7 cheaper! After trying several generic inks from other online discounters, I've learned that they fade quickly. Now I only buy the Canon inks, but they're expensive at your local retailers. I purchase Canon products for my two Canon printers. I have a 970I and a new MP500. I have found that using Canon ink and paper always gives me outstanding quality photos. The BCI-6BK black ink tanks are easy to load and there is never any ink mess. The black ink seems to be darker than other brands when used with a Canon printer.Customer Review: original inks best

Confessions of a cheapo. I used 2nd market replacement inks. They did print o.k. However, the bottom line, they eventuality cause the "seating prongs" on the print head to break. So,my lesson, use the OEM inks, along with Canon paper to provide the best prevention to fading, bleed and create the best tones. The end.Customer Review: Great ink for Canon printer

These canon ink cartridges are a great value and using the same brand ink for the same brand printer will ensure you do not damage your printer heads or have to worry about leaks and stuff. I have never had a problem with canon ink on my pixma printer, and highly recommend their ink for their printers.Customer Review: It works... What else is there?

I like Canon's ink system because it is nice to see that the printer actually does use all of the ink contained in the cartridges, but I think that really is attributable to the printer more than the ink itself. As for the ink, it is high quality from what I can tell, and I've never had any problems!
