Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Canon BG-E2N Battery Grip for Canon 20D, 30D, 40D & 50D Digital SLR Cameras (Retail Package)Customer Review: As Stated by other Poster, Excellent for Big Hands Summary: 5 Stars
I happen to have large hands and have been prone to camera shake with many cameras in my life. The battery grips dating back to mechanical analog times have always been helpful. Especially with the lightweight cameras of today, it is essential for that extra weight stabilization, grip, and battery life!
Highly recommended for those with larger hands. Not so recommended for those that want a more stealth look to their setup.
Customer Review: BG-E2N Battery grip Summary: 5 Stars
This transaction was about my dozenthth order with Amazon, and all went smooth, as usual. I ordered it 3 days before Christmas, but I got it by Christmas eve, thanks to Amazon's fantastic customer service and satisfaction. I did not expect to get it until after Christmas, but I was given my present early!
Thanks Amazon.com! I recommend them to everyone, they have the best prices, and the most excellent customer service anywhere.
Customer Review: Battery Grip Summary: 5 Stars
This battery grip works as advertised. I use the Opteka battery grips on my Canon Rebel XT and XTI so when I bought my Canon 40D I knew I would need the grip. I went with the Canon brand for this and have not had any problems as of yet. There are those out there that have had problems with this product, but I feel that if you use a little care and take care of your equipment it will work the way it's designed and last a long time.
Customer Review: Excellent Product Summary: 5 Stars
Makes life sooo much easier when shooting portrait for a long period of time, especially with a spot for a second batter, or you can replace both normal batteries with 6 AA's, haven't tried it as I have two 40D batteries, but neat option nonetheless.
If you do need a spare battery look at SterlingTek, *very* popular site among photographers for their cheap (but as good or even better than Canon, higher mAH) batteries.
Customer Review: Works like other Canon grips. Summary: 5 Stars
Made a world of difference on my camera.
If you're using higher end lenses that have some size to them, this is a must for the large handed or if you're like me and love a hand strap.
Reading other reviews, I came across the negative feedback and considered issues others had with this device. fortunately I've not experienced any faults or problems with this; it has become a permanent piece on my cameras.
