Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Canon BG-E2N Battery Grip for Canon 20D, 30D, 40D & 50D Digital SLR Cameras (Retail Package)Customer Review: A Must Have! Summary: 5 Stars
I take alot of pictures and am often out in the field for hours. No worries with this battery pack. I like the balance of the grip and the ease of taking vertical photos. The pack gives my light Rebel XT some heft, but is easy to remove when I want to go hiking and not have that extra weight hanging around my neck. This battery pack should definitely be part of your camera gear.
Customer Review: Canon BG-E2N Battery Grip - Great Addition to Your Canon Camera Summary: 5 Stars
I have purchased 2 of these in the past 3 months. One for myself and one as a gift. The price beats the in-store price of almost $300 and the battery grip is easy to use. I used my battery grip with 2 batteries a whole week on a cruise (vacation) and took hundreds (almost thousands) of pictures. I never had to charge the batteries.
Great product - and a great gift!
Customer Review: Oh Jeah! Summary: 5 Stars
No reason to ever want to take this off of my canon 40D. Sturdy, locks great and vertical grip is a must. I have read that this grip does not auto focus. Well my does just fine. Give my camera a massive look along with my 70-200mm f/2.8 is lens and 580ex II flash. I love my new setup. Sell what ever you can to buy this setup. I'm happy!

Customer Review: Get It! end of story Summary: 5 Stars
i was so worried about getting this grip i heard s many bad things about it. so let me take this time to clear somethings up. this grip is awesome, i don't know why people are saying that it's bad, has loose connection, doesn't fit right. well i haven't had any of those problems i love this product i really don't know how i lived with out it get it just get it.
Customer Review: Good so far Summary: 5 Stars
After receiving this grip, I've used it quite a bit, only removing it once when I HAD to have the lightest and most portable rig possible. It's an adjustment to get used to re-orienting my hand to take advantage of the grip. The camera is definitely heavier with the grip, but I haven't found that to be a problem. I love the security of having the extra battery.
