BEWARE! The item is listed as available but is actually on back order.
this is not stated anywhere on the page. i called once and was told no problem, will ship in indicated time, now the price went up and when i called i was told it is on back order. considering that i need this for a trip, this is not good for me. I wish Amazon would put this up front so the customers would not be mislead.
The rating is not for the battery but for Amazon's lack of consideration for its customers to disclose pertinent information.

The title pretty much sums it up. I couldn't be more disappointed. Now I get to spend $100 for another battery that I won't have confidence in.
I regret the whole Canon video camera purchase now.
