I went the (thinking it was cheaper) eBay route- for about $10 more I got a new one here and it WORKS. eBay is nice, but when it comes to stuff like this I learned my lesson. I've never gone wrong ordering from Amazon, in fact I just ordered an OEM NB-3L battery for my SD500; tried the Radio Slop route and it won't go over 20 pictures. I am very satisfied with the Canon CB-2LU Battery Charger I purchased from 17th Street Photo. My concern was that the charger had to be a genuine Canon product, not an aftermarket product. The charger is new, came in a genuine Canon box with instructions,and was at my door steps before I new it. I have looked everywhere for this charger. Everywhere in town wants me to buy something else that MIGHT work. It was great to finally find the actual charger that comes with the camera. It's just the right size and plugs right into the wall. The prongs fold down and can fit nicely in a carry-on bag. Simply put, if you need this for your Canon lithium batteries, either because you want a second charger or the first one is lost or broken, there is not a good substitute. I recieved a Canon SD400 as a gift, well it didnt come with a charger and the batteries finally died. I looked almost everywhere for this charger and found it on Amazon. I'm a soldier currently stationed in Iraq and thanks to Amazon, I can capture every moment of my tour.
