Customer Review: the refurbished ink is just as good at a very small fraction of the price

I have used both the name brand Canon ink as well as the refurbished ink and cannot tell any difference, except for the fact that the refurbished ink is 1/20th of the price of the Canon ink. From now on I only purchase the refurbished ink. It prints up everything wonderfully and always looks perfect. I have a Canon MP510 so I have to purchase the black ink tank (item number: Canon 5 / PGBK) separately, but with this pack it's actually cheaper to buy this set as well as the seperate black tank. This is a huge money saver and I must stress that there is absolutely no degradation in the printing or picture quality, whatsoever.Customer Review: DON'T CHEAP OUT!!!....Buy Canon Ink replacement Cartridges!

Beware of buying other cartridges with out the Canon name on it. They require you pull the chip off the original ink cartridge and place it on theirs. If you don't follow the instructions properly in pulling the chip off...Guess what? You are out the cash on the cartridge! Also beware you run the risk of imitations leaking all over your printer. The replacement ink from Canon is the way to go. Better safe than sorry. Yes there was an idiot in my family who cheaped out and had to buy a new printer! lol
Also note: It is also cheaper to buy ink in a boxed set such as this, its cheaper per cartridge. Each usually runs about fourteen dollars and up.

I have had my Canon PIXMA iP4500 since 02/07/08. I print frequently and replaced the ink tanks this week. They sure lasted much longer than I expected. Purchase price @ Amazon $37.51. They arrived in perfect shape. The box had crumpled paper in it to keep the contents stable.
I have been an active customer of Amazon.com for many years and have NEVER been anything but well pleased with their prices and service.
I have owned four printers and not one of them compared to the print jobs I get with this Canon PIXMA. I print numerous photos and I cannot tell the ones I print from the ones that came from the photo studio!

I have a Canon Pixma MP830 which is quite possible the best printer I have ever owned, but the cost of canon ink is over the top. I saw this package and decided to try it and am pleasantly surprised. Have had no problems with the three I have used (haven't had to replace the yellow one yet).

My husband and I have been purchasing these ink cartridges since we bought our Canon four in one printer, two and a have years ago. These have been great along with purchasing the two larger black tanks. The cartridges are easy to install and simple with no mess. On one occasion I had one color not work as our printer couldn't detect that I had installed a new cartridge, however, as I keep an additional supply on hand, I simply put in a different one and was back in action.
Amazon has been a great supplier in identifying the best price for this product and we will continue to use it while we have our Canon Printer.
