Best price I found on the 'net for OEM! While remans are cheaper they seem to have more chip problems than OEM (i.e., recognition by Canon printers) and the ink is not as high a quality as I've had printer head nozzle degradation from them. And those that don't come with a chip (refills) have even more problems with chip transfer and ditto on the inks.
Considering the small difference in price between these and reman and the quality/printhead issues I think these OEM's a far better deal!

The ink arrived quickly with one faulty tank. The vendor was notified and the faulty tank was promptly replaced. The lower price from this vendor is due to there being no original packaging. The original package was probably damaged during shipment and this vendor then buys the product at a substantial discount for resale. I don't need the original packaging and welcome the lower price for genuine Canon ink. I've tried third party ink and have not been satisfied with the color intensity.Customer Review: Ink Usage

Some reviews say the ink tank does not last very long. My printer manual says to turn off the printer when not in use to save ink. "When you press the ON/OFF button to turn off the machine, the machine automatically puts a protective cap on the Print Head to prevent the ink from drying. If you remove the power cord or switch off the power outlet strip before the POWER lamp goes out, this capping will not be done properly, causing the Print Head to dry and clog."Customer Review: Cannon Pixma Printers Print Fine Photos

After being a HP loyalist I purchased a Canon Pixma Printer from Amazon and was very pleased to discover it to be a far superior printer then any other I have used. The separate Ink Tank feature is excellent and allows replacement of only the depleated colors as they occur. The only compliant I can muster is the cost of using this printer. The Ink Tanks must be replaced more often then I like but then that is the price I must pay for such superb printing.Customer Review: Be careful

No problem with the ink, but be careful when you order that you need the small black cartridge. I've made this mistake before. My printer uses this size of the three color cartridges, but not the black. It uses a bigger black one, so basically I have to throw the small black one away and just use the colored ones. Canon sells a pack with just the color cartridges. That's the one I should have ordered. I order the larger black cartridges separately.
