Excellent result no question on quality of-course. After a couple of months of use, one ink cartridge - Yellow gave an indication of no ink although there was almost 50% ink left in the tank! Called the customer service and detrmined the cartridge to be defective, repalced free of charge form Cannon. Good customer service.
The only negative comment is Cannon ink cartridges are expensive.

These last longer in my Canon MX700 than the ink for a previous Epson printer did. Much longer. I don't use ink often, maybe a few pages a week, and the previous ink tanks lasted over 6 months! I haven't had any ink-related errors with Canon yet. It is worth it to get Canon ink because the generics have had errors on full tanks before, rendering the whole thing useless.Customer Review: Canon Inkjet printer and Ink is flawless.

After struggling for years with Epson inkjet printers and constantly dried up cartridges, I just got Pixma 4500 a couple months ago. This Canon system with 4 individual cartridges for color and 1 larger black pigment ink cartridge for text has worked perfectly every time for both heavy use printing lots of photos and light use with a couple weeks of sitting idle.Customer Review: Canon CLI-8 4 Pack Ink

While the price was not outstanding, it is still cheaper than I could get it at retail. Plus I didn't have to spend $2.25/gallon on gas driving to the office supply to get it. I would purchase it again. I am hesitant to purchase the refills and replace the chip on it. The savings is huge, but I don't want the hassle or the potential damage to the printer.Customer Review: ink

I have always purchased canon ink from amazon, and there was free shipping for my order. Now I see that amazon does not ship this ink anymore and I have to go through a camera outlet on their site. I will not purchase any more ink from amazon, I'll find another sorce. The ink is expensive as it is, I don't want to be charged for shipping too!!
