Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Canon Deluxe Photo Backpack 200EG for Canon EOS SLR Cameras (Black with Green Accent)Customer Review: Great camara Bag if you you want to haul everything! Summary: 5 Stars
This bag is the size of a standard backpack. It was a little surprising it was so big. Now that I have gotten use to it I like it alot. I was looking for a camera bag that would fit both my Canon Digital Rebel XT and Sony Camcorder and some lens and media. I was looking for a little smaller bag, but I would have been able to carry everthing I wanted to if I went smaller. If you want a small camera bag this isn't for you. But if you like to carry a good amount of camera equipement this is for you.
This bag is very high quality as well. The main compartment is organized well with dividers for all your lens and camera body. You can move the dividers to fit you equipment, which was a requirement for me when I was looking for a camera bag. One this I wish Canon would have provided a few extra dividers, because I used some of the dividers for other things (other then lenes).
Overall this is a large high quality bag. It's great for hiking. And it holds a ton of equipemnt.
Customer Review: Hiking BackPack for your Camera Summary: 5 Stars
For the price this product is an excellent purchase. It retails in stores for about $70. I am a large woman and the straps have enough adjustment to fit my frame. Easy, lightweight, it has given me great mobility for getting the perfect shot! One small problem, after closer inspection months after purchase, the fabric
ic in one area was coming away from the seam. Look closely when you get it in the mail. I think this was just one that got missed in the sewing machine, and I would have returned it if it hadn't been so long ago.
Another thing, is make sure you zip up the right pockets when you get ready to put it on. I opened the pockets looking for something, then picked it up thinking I had it all zipped up and the main compartment was not, and my camera almost tumbled out onto the ground. Not the bags fault, but it does have two zippered compartments in close proximity.
Pockets hold keys, towels, book. I connected my mono pod case to the side. Its awesome!
Customer Review: Excellent backpack if you want to bring your camera all over the place with you Summary: 5 Stars
I just bought a Canon EOS REBEL XT with a couple of lenses, a battery grip, some cleaning stuff from copper hill, and misc items (memory cards, batteries, filters, MINI-tripod).. I ordered and received the backpack 200EG.
IT IS A PERFECT MATCH WITH THE CAMERA :)
Here are the specifications:
Inside mesurements are W:10 x H:14 3/4 x D:5
It holds my camera body, and there is space for another one.
When I put the camera body in it, I can leave the 18-35mn lens.. while some other bags, you NEED to remove the lens anytime you want to put away the camera body.
It is made of rugged nylon, so it's OK under the rain.
I think it's light like any other backpack..
The shoulder straps and the back of the backpack are padded so it's not uncomfortable to carry.
There is pocket all over the place (outside front/side , inside)
There is 2 straps to carry tripods (mini)
I recommend it big time !
Customer Review: More than I expected, when does that EVER happen? Summary: 5 Stars
There are 3 large sections, The main compartment for the camera and lenses, plenty of room, padding, and dividers there, also with two mesh zip pockets. the next compartment also unfolds completely when unzipped all the way, and has 3 memory card pouches, a big open area most lap-tops will fit in, and two stretchy pouches at the bottom big enough for large lens filters and such. The third compartment is an outer pouch with a single straight zipper along the top, big enough easily for a large novel. There are two reinforced straps on the bottom of the bag for a tripod. there is a hip strap that can get tucked into the back padding when not in use, a sternum strap, and nice padded shoulder straps. there are also two straps on the side of the bag above two outer pockets, perhaps for small tripods? anyways, this backpack is LOADED, stitched well, and full of features! a great buy at half the price of anything even close. It is made in china however. I dont Immagine many bags are not though?
Customer Review: Nice Pack!!! Summary: 5 Stars
Pack is nice, bigger than I thought, I have a PowerShot G3 that I keep in it along with an extender tube and a couple lenses for it (nothing to big) but with the tube attached to my camera it wouldn't quite fit right into other packs for hauling around. That's why I went with something a little bigger that holds Canons bigger cameras with extended battery packs... I can also fit a couple smaller cameras I use for "point and shoot" in the pack, with enough room leftover for whatever you need to bring a long with ya for a day of hiking, sightseeing, whatever.
Comfy, I haven't had to wear it for an extended period of time yet, but it feels good on the back the few times I've had it out. The pack is built very well, the seams are strong, zippers are nice sized and heavy duty, and plenty of room! If you travel with a lot of lenses, spare camera, or both, this pack is for you. BTW, I haven't strapped a tripod to it yet, those straps are untested, look sturdy enough though...
