Good deal. The leather case is tight, but like most leather items, breaks in after a few uses. Protects the camera well, and prevents it from accidentally turning on. Buying a Canon battery alone is almost the cost of the kit. The neck strap is something I thought I'd never use, but it turns out it's pretty handy. It's a nice metal chain covered in clear rubber, so it doesn't pinch or get your hair tangled in it. Makes the camera easy to grab and take a quick pic. This kit is a perfect followup to a Canon digital camera purchase. You'll need the extra battery since these cameras have no battery indicator and only give you a very short low battery warning before the camera shuts down. The case is very nice leather, but has no room for an extra battery or SD card which would be a good thing. The Amazon price is much less than Best Buy in-store so this is a good value and much less than buying these items separately.Customer Review: Great Kit

Very convenient case that attaches to your belt for easy carrying and provides great protection. My Canon camera fit perfectly in it. Every camera needs a second battery. If you don't have an extra battery, Murphy's law says that your battery will die just before you're ready to take that perfect, once-in-a-lifetime picture. The best carrying case for a small camera. The extra battery is nice to have. Too bad the case doesn't have a place for it! The long strap was the hit of my tour! Everyone wanted to know where it was purchased. It allowed me to be hands free when needed, but still take pictures without removing the camera from around my neck. I bought this camera case for my and my husband's SD400 and SD450. An extra card fits in the little pocket inside and the extra battery fits nicely into the belt loup on the outside. Then everything fits in a pocket or purse, and we are "good to go." I carry my camera with me all the time. Major travel or particular picture taking needs find the slave flash in the other pocket. No problem!
