I am a Photojournalism major and I love action shots. This lens would have probably worked better on Manual ("M") than on Picture ("P"), but I still got a lot of great shots. I bought this lense nine month ago on amazon for my canon rebel k2. Its a lense for shoot pictures at ball games, landscrape, and parks. Sometimes its a little in foucing. If your looking for a faster lense its the 100-400mm by Opteka also from amazon.Customer Review: This is an easy buy

I bought this lens for my wife who is a semi new camera user. She loves it and for the price you can't go wrong. I can't imagne spending 3x's more on a so called better lens at the level that we are at taking pictures this lens rocks.
