I bought this kit. The price was good and it had everything pictured in the entry. It would have been better to have had an additional battery as well. The CF card is fast enough to do the job well and 16G allows me to work a 3 hour event without having to change. The only weak spot would be the lenses. Definitely 'kit' lens quality. The 18-55 works well, but image quality is not in line with 'L' class lenses, but thus the price difference. The 75-300 is not bad even without Image Stabilization. Since restarting at the pro level after 15 years off, and having to learn a new camera and the whole digital paradigm, this camera from day one has provided excellent images. It provides a great place to start working with the camera while determining what other accessories you should get. The cleaning kit's rubber bulb was a bit odoriferous but that was the only negative.

The EOS 7D features an all-new 18.0 Megapixel APS-C size CMOS sensor and Dual DIGIC 4 Image Processors, capturing tremendous images at up to ISO 12800 and speeds of up to 8 fps. Other great features include the cross-type 19-point AF system, an Intelligent Viewfinder that provides 100% coverage, a 63-zone dual-layer metering system, and a magnesium alloy body that is dust- and weather-resistant. The EOS 7D also captures Full HD video at 30p (29.97 fps), 24p (23.976 fps) and 25p with an array of manual controls, including manual exposure during movie shooting and ISO speed selection.
The EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS zoom lens is designed with Canon's Optical Image Stabilizer technology. It consists of 11 elements in 9 groups and uses an Aspherical lens element to correct aberration for excellent image quality throughout the zoom range.
The EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III Zoom Lens is a compact and lightweight 4x telephoto zoom lens ideal for shooting sports, portraits, and wildlife.
The Canon BG-E7 Battery Grip holds up to two LP-E6 battery packs or six AA Batteries, offering double-length shooting time, and the BG-E7 provides full vertical shooting controls.
