Just received the item in about 1 week. I was expecting to get the charger that everyone else was describing which is the one with the fold-away receptacle. What I received was a canon charger with with a cord. It works, but not at all what I was expecting to receive. I am contemplating returning the item since the last thing I want is another cord to carry around.Customer Review: Is it really a Canon Part LC-E5

I have 5 other Canon chargers for other equipment. The face markings on the unit shipped from Angel are not consistant with the other chargers ordered from Canon or on the ones delivered with new equipment. This charger was shipped wrapped in plain plastic, no other instructions or any indication it was a genuine part as shown. Previously bought another charger for the T2i from Opteka, another dud. 0 for 2 on this part on Amazon, time to order directly from Canon.
Except for this part, have been pleased with Amazon

Your publicity says the Canon battery charger LC-E5 retail is priced at $98. I have never seen one that high. The highest I have seen is $60 at Best Buy and a local photography store.
