I got this to make my iP100 printer even more portable. It works very well. However, because the optional Bluetooth dongle is worthless to me and I have to plug a printer cable in anyway, it's not that much more difficult to plug the printer into an outlet.
Pros: Good build quality. Simple to set up and use.
Cons: Expensive. Not worth it because the Bluetooth dongle is a waste.

Another price of crap from Canon!!! What is going on with this company?
It can't hold a charge, it only last for 20 to 30 pages of printing before it is out!!! Took the advice of the other reviewer here on Amazon. Boy, were they wrong.
First, it is heavy, more so then the charger. And I still need to travel with the CHARGER in my bag!!!
Second, the lights are worthless.
3rd. After just 5 pages, it starts blinking that the charge is dropping. Then, depending on how complex your print job is the battery last for another 15 to 25 pages. I have counted the pages and believe me.
4th. Called Canon, their advice was to remove the BU-30 Bluetooth adapter. Did that and increase the output another 2-3 pages. But, that is not the soluation, I still need to travel with the USB printer cable!!! Also, the BU-30 is another price of CRAP. Loses the Bluetooth while it is printing. Another headache. Going to leave both behind in home starting Monday. Worthless.
Anyone interested? Willing to sell them for cheap.

Although this item is title "CanonLK-62 Printer Portable Kit Battery & Attachment" it is only the battery as opposed to a printer kit including a battery. I wouldn't have ordered this for the battery/recharger alone. I needed the printer.
