Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Canon PIXMA MX700 Office All-On-One Inkjet PrinterCustomer Review: Great choice Summary: 5 Stars
This is the first Canon printer I have tried. I needed to get a printer that could scan and save in PDF format. I'm so pleased with the quality and performance with this printer. It's not the fastest, but plenty adequate. While I didn't buy it to print pictures ( I use my Epson 1800 for that), I tried to print some, and was amazed at the results...very true color and quality was surprising. The price was great and I would certainly recommend this printer!!!
Customer Review: Graduate school Summary: 5 Stars
This is a beautifully made and operating product that I have not had the time to test all of it's capabilities. Like so many electronic products making their appearance, each generation is progressively more complex than the previous to the point that, at times, they beome cumbersome and hard to use. By the time the user gets to be ninety years old, simply inserting a piece of paper and giving the knob on the platten a spin and then typing would be a blessing.
Customer Review: You cant beat this all in one printer Summary: 5 Stars
I had my doubts about it because of the price. Its great though easy to use right out of the box. well i mean install the drivers then its easy as cake. Button layout nice and ots of function. Interface not confusing and very dummy proof scanns prints like a champ at the price. although i havent used the fax feature so take into consideration. i wouldnt trade this printer for any other one. its the poor mans caddie of printers.
Customer Review: Many workgroup features for the price Summary: 5 Stars
The Canon Pixma MX700 is a great small workgroup or home office MFP. I've had mine for about three months and love it.
PROS: Low price, Ethernet, ADF, Dual Paper Trays, High Print Speed and Quality, FAX, Good with Photos and Documents, Good on-device controls for copy/fax, SDHC (>2 GB, FAT32) secure digital card reader.
CONS: Scan quality is sub-par, Network installation requires CD (for every PC), Ethernet is only 10BT, Wireless extra.
Customer Review: Great for a wifi home Summary: 5 Stars
This printer was installed in a home with a wifi laptop running Vista and am old eMac. The only problem was interference from the CA firewall software and that was solved by disabling CA and just using the Microsoft firewall. The MX700 printed, copied, and scanned with no problems. Compared to several bad experiences with HP networked inkjet printers, the Canon network software just works. Be sure that you have a USB cable while setting up the MX700.
