This printer is wonderful. Canon never disappoints. I bought it so I could get prints larger than 8.5 X 11 and have done some that are 13 X 19. The vibrant colors and clarity are amazing. Ink consumption so far has been surprisingly low and I'm glad to see that.
If you're looking for an excellent printer that will give you superb results, you should definitely consider the Pro9000 Mark 2.

We love this printer. We are not professionals so I am speaking from an amateur perspective, but it prints quickly, quietly and the quality is superb. The photos look as if I had them printed at a lab. I rated the ink usage efficiency as excellent, but in all truthfulness I haven't had it long enough to know but didn't want to give it a bad rating since the overall printer is spectacular.Customer Review: This is an outstanding printer.

I have been producing large prints for a number of years. My old printer quit recently and I purchased the Canon. Right away I was impressed with how quickly it can produce the large prints and the print resolution and color exceeds any thing I have experienced previously. I am very please with it's value and performance. I would have to say "what's not to like".Customer Review: One of the best for printing pictures

For the price (price seems to be dropping recently) this is one of theee best printers out there for printing super high quality photographs, specially when you pair it with high quality canon photo paper. Yes, the printer is freaking huge and heavy so think where you are going to put it before buying it.
All in all, great investment. Highly recommend.

I did a lot of research for an inkjet printer. When I finally found one that had a 4 1/2 star rating, it caught my attention. I read all the reviews and thought, I'm going to get this printer. It was easy to set up and the one-click printing was amazing. The color was great right from the start. I'm very impressed and happy I purchased it.
