Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Canon PSC-85 Deluxe Soft Case for Canon Powershot A650IS and A720ISCustomer Review: Perfect for my needs Summary: 5 Stars
I purchased the PSC-85 camera case to house my Canon Powershot A650. The camera fits in the case perfectly. It is very easy to slide the camera in & out of the case. There is room for an extra memory card or possibly 2 AA batteries. It fits nicely in my purse. It has a loop for a belt or fanny pack. In addition, I have a slightly larger camera case which I use to store or transport my camera & accessories. The PSC-85 slim design allows me to leave my A650 in the case when I use the larger case. I don't have to remove the camera from the PSC-85 inorder to make it fit in the larger case which is added protection for the camera. I am very satisfied with this purchase and would reccomend The Canon PSC-85 highly.
Customer Review: Nice Little Case Summary: 5 Stars
I ordered this case along with my Canon camera. Case fits perfectly, has a small zipper bag for storing discs, has belt strap, and is made of material that will likely be easy to keep clean. Greatest advantage to this case is absence of zippers on case in vicinity of camera; a friend of mine has same Cannon, but bought a non-Canon case in a store; consequently, he has to constantly guard against zippers scratching the back screen of the camera. The design of this case eliminates the need for such a precaution. In this case, therefore, probably best to go with a case specifically designed either for this camera, or specifically for a digital camera generally that would effectively eliminate this risk.
Customer Review: Fits more or like a glove. Summary: 5 Stars
I am currently using this case for my Canon SX120 and it is the perfect fit.
The padding is great for light duty like for when your camera is stored away in your backpack. It protects the LCD screen and lens front and also has small storage for extra memory cards, etc.
I've bought a Nikon case in the past and I must admit that the quality was not as good as the Canon. Also got a great deal on a brand new case cheaper than a generic case, or from the local camera store (saw these for $17.99 plus tax).
Anyone looking for a genuine Canon case for their Canon SX1** should really consider picking one of these up.
Customer Review: Great Camera Summary: 5 Stars
I recently bought this camera and it is great. It is not hard to figure out how to use and the screen is bigger than other cameras so it allows you to really see what you are looking at. It is also lightweight. It takes nice, sharp pictures. I did buy a bigger memory card than the one that came with it. The one drawback is that after taking a picture there is a 5-10 second delay before you can shoot another picture. I think that there is a way to change that but I haven't gotten to that part of the book yet. I would totally recommend this camera for the average user.
Customer Review: Nice Case Summary: 5 Stars
This case fits the camera well. There isn't any extra room for accessories but you might could squeeze in a lens cloth. Also "soft" is a bit of a misnomer, it's a rigid canvas case that doesn't change shape when I take the camera out and put the case down. "Soft" is more to indicate that it doesn't provide any crush protection. If you want a place to keep the camera from getting scratched up while it's in your bag or on your belt and aren't looking to carry any extras this is a great choice.
