I've had the printer for a month now. I haven't tried printing digital pictures yet, but my kids and myself have printed clip art and documents. It is fast and the results were perfect. This is the first all in one (printer/scanner/copier) I have owned. Hoping it lasts as long as the individual components do....
I tried the scanning and copier features - they work great. The built in paper tray underneath the unit is a nice feature - I always hated the paper sticking up out of the back on previous printers. Being able to close up the unit easily may protect it from dust and dog hair.

This is an excellent printer especially for the cost. It was very easy to set up. My previous printer was an HP all in one photo which ate up ink, and constantly had paper jams or would grab multiple papers when printing. I love that this printer uses mulitple cartridges (2 black, magenta, cyan, and yellow). Although I will more than likely be buying the multipack ink, I have the option of only replacing the color needed which in the long run will save on ink costs. The LCD screen is great for looking at what you are printing. The menu options are easy to understand and use.Customer Review: Best deal out there

I bought this to replace a five year old Epson. This is my first canon and my first all in one. The quick setup instructions were easy to follow and no problems installing on vista x64. I've already printed about ten 4x6 (photos) and forty 8.5x11 (black text) on the highest quality setting and it still says that I have full tanks. The scans take really long on its highest setting and a full 8.5x11 scan takes about 410mb but the quality is great. The copy and print speeds are great. Overall a great printer that hasn't let me down and exceed my expectations.Customer Review: Love it!

We've only had HP printers before, but after lots of research, decided to buy this Canon printer. I love it! I'm not at all troubled by the size as some have indicated, since it's smaller than the HP I had. The color quality for pictures is amazing, and I have printed pictures both from my computer to the printer and also directly from the camera memory stick. The printer is very user-friendly and has great software for setting up. I'm considered a senior citizen and I was able to set it up easily by myself. After reading all the reviews, we purchased the MP610 to replace our dead scanner....Although we have had it only a short time it has proved to be a very capable piece of equipment, performing as we had anticipated according to the reviews. If you are not a professional, this unit will do a great job for the average user! The rebate made it even more attractive and practical.
