I just bought the MP610 printer 2 days ago and it prints out fantastic pictures that are just as good, if not better, than glossy printouts you get from WalMart or a local photo developer. It's so good that my wife could NOT critize the print quality. I also scanned in a picture and a few documents--once again, it performed great. Obviously, I'm extremely happy with my purchase. Only thing to be aware of is the size of this printer--it really takes up some space (performance is well worth this though).Customer Review: im a college student

My old HP broke and thank goodness for that! The ink was like a million dollars and it would last me about 2-3 weeks. I got the Mp610 back in February and it's June and I STILL have a really good amount of ink. I go to college so i'm constantly printing out a zillion powerpoint slides and papers. Plus, it's really fast. The only downside was the size. When it was shipped to my house, i was shocked at how bulky it was, but honestly, it's worth it, i guess i could say it's sturdy? I totally recommend it :)Customer Review: Who could ask for anything more?

Does everything right except no fax (haven't used fax in years anyway -- pdf attachment to e-mail works much better and faster).
2 paper feeds -- tray underneath and typical Canon top feed allows installation in pull out drawer or under shelf if top feed is never needed.
Only hiccup was installation of drivers. Walk-thru with Canon tech support was quick and WORKED the first time.
Canon tech support has been outstanding over the years. Five stars for them, too.

I bought this printer based on the general model reviews and recommendations seen at Amazon and elsewhere. It just seems to be a very mature, feature-rich and easy to use device. I was especially impressed by the the clear, accurate and surprise-free installation instructions.
For now, anyway, I am completely satisfied.
Also, I have just always liked Canon products - ever since buying my first SLR camera from them, an FT that still works as well as the day I bought it.

I had the Canon Pixma MP610 Photo All-On-One Inkjet Printer for a month and a half now and I say it's a pretty good printer. I printed plenty of color documents for my wedding and the ink color has stayed true and hasn't faded yet. It prints real fast as well. Had no problems. The only thing is that it doesn't give much options to what type of paper you're using. Like cardstock vs plain paper or other type of photo papers. So, I used the default settings and it printed fine. I recommend it. :)
