Great printer! This is the best printer I have owned. It's fast and the picture quality is wonderful. The size of the printer is bigger then I thought it would be, but I don't mind. I use it mainly for printing photos and I haven't been disappointed yet. I have notoiced that the quality of the photos turn out better if you use the Easy Print EX software that comes with the Canon printer. I have both Kodax Easy Share and Olympus photo software on my computer. You can print from these programs, but I have found that the picture quality isn't near as good if you do. I also like the individual ink cartridges. When one color runs out you only have to replace the color you need instead of buying a new tri color cartridge.Customer Review: Great Printer/Scanner/Copier for the $$ - RECOMMEND!!

I decided on this printer after reading other reviews. After 5 years of using a Canon S630, the print head died. I like that Canon uses individual ink cartridges. The Canon Pixma MP610 is easy to set up and start using, I just plugged in and printed. Being able to load paper from a front tray or the back using the Feed Switch button is VERY convenient. It has a nice feature of opening the paper exit door on it's own just before the final print copy comes out. The scanning and coping capabilities work well and are convenient to have in an all in one machine. The color quality is very good. The navigation buttons are simple to use. It prints fast and VERY quiet. The price was right and I am happy I bought it.Customer Review: Works Fine with New iMac So Far......

Wanted a multifunction printer and read that the Canon MP610 was getting generally better reviews than HP, Epson, or Lexmark in the same price range.
I don't think the picture printing is any better or less so than my 7 year old HP 935c which has been excellent, but the Canon MP610 is faster. Copying and text printing with the Canon yields crisp and clear results.
I had no experience with scanning and found the Canon MP610 and its companion scanning software to be intuitive and easy to use. No problem scanning documents into the iMac and formatting to PDF to make multi-page PDF attachments.
Quite pleased so far and would recommend both the Canon MP610 and Amazon, too.

I replaced an HP All-In-One with this printer.
I already have a Canon Pixma iP 8500 which I use stricly for
photos and was glad to see this printer as a replacement.
I was not disappointed. Though this is primarilay used for
text printing, it has excellent speed and clear printing. It
also is ready to use very quickly after you turn it on.
I have used it alot already in the short term since I bought it
and the printer ink still shows full on all the tanks.
Set up is a breeze. The best part is I bought this at a very
discounted price on Amazon.
If you're looking for an inexpensive All-In-One printer, this
one is highly recommended.

Love this printer. Very very user friendly and top notch quality. Even I could figure it out and that is saying something. I am amazed at how much better this printer is than any other I have owned. And I've had quite a few. The price is right too. You would think that such a great printer would cost a lot more. After the rebate, free shipping and my Amazon rewards it cost me a grand total of 43 bucks!! Get an Amazon Visa card. It's saves you a bundle. Even without the discounts Amazon had the best price. I was having trouble with the online rebate process and after one simple call to Amazon customer service everything was completed in seconds. Amazon is simply the best!! And so is this printer!!
