I've bought many items from Amazon and have never rated them--whether good or bad. But, I'm making an exception for this printer.
This printer was an X-mas gift from me to me and I have absolutely no complaints about this printer and all--and I'm a picky individual mind you.
It's easy to install, document quality is excellent and the pictures are amazing. I recently got married and with the exception of about 2 'special' prints that I had done at the local Kodak store--I have printed all of my wedding pictures on this printer. From 8 x 10's to wallets--you name it, I've printed them & every single picture looks gorgeous. I highly recommend it...

Great printer. I read many of the reviews and it is definitely worth buying. Very easy to install. The scanner and printer have worked flawlessly. For photo copying I due recommend glossy paper as pictures can be better appreciated. Image size of printer is bigger than it appears in photo but will fit nicely in a standard desktop table. It does not come with a USB cable which I did not know prior to purchasing but, not a big deal as I was able to purchase one at a local walmart store. (Price is between 10-15 dollars depending on lenth of cable). Several additional features can be added such as memory card. Would recommend this product hands down.

This printer is amazing. The ink is relatively easy to find and not super expensive. The printer is very reliable. There is a top and bottom paper loading trey and you can easily switch between which to use. The whole thing closes up very nicely so you can keep dust out. Ink installation is a breeeze. Printing speed is perfect. Scanning is realitively easy. The software isnt bloated and annoying. Basically if you are looking for a printer that simply prints... doesnt cost a lot.. and gets the job done this is it. Ive seen and used quite a few printers and have constantly appreciated my decicion to buy this one.Customer Review: The best!

We have had this printer for a month and my wife says it's THE BEST one we have ever owned. She does photo printing and photo scanning most of the time and it hasn't jammed yet. With the two feeders loaded (one with regular paper and one with photo paper) and a click of the feed switch, she can jump from one job to another in a second. It very easy to operate, quiet and lots of 'how-to' instructions available. Very sleek looking too. We read reviews and studied many printers and finally decided this is the one. We made a good choice for the price and got exactly what we wanted. I would recommend this printer.Customer Review: Canon MP 610 is great

Canon is a great company to deal with and their products are outstanding. Bought the MP 610 from Amazon but it was not copying or scanning correctly. Called Canon and after trying a few things over the phone they concluded that it was a faulty scanner and sent me a warranty replacement MP 610 with a prepaid UPS to return faulty unit if I was satisfied problem was corrected. New unit works great and the quality of the color prints is outstanding, copy mode make great and fast copies and the scanning is adequate for my use. If you really want great scans I think you need to spend more money.
