I purchased this printer from Amazon after seeing one at a local store. Amazon had the best price and shipping was free and fast. I unboxed it and followed the instructions for setup. After loading the drivers and software as instructed. I printed some pictures from our son's wedding in large format. The results were fabulous. My wife immediately replaced the professionally done pictures with my freshly printed ones. We are very pleased with this printer. I'm as happy as a clam with the Cannon Pro9000 printer, all of my jobs went through smoothly and printed nicely, even on textured specialty construction paper, imagine that. I swtiched from HP for my home office needs, and cannot believe that I didn't own a Cannon sooner. Recently I'm branching out into graphic design and many reviews pointed to the Cannon, and it seems with good reason. I have not yet experimented with all the features or print capabilities, but so far I'm highly impressed and look forward to many fine projects. I had many photos that I always wanted to enlarge larger than 8X10. I purchased a Canon 4300, then a 4500 with great results. For the money, they are the best. I then saw an ad for the Pro 9000 that prints 13inch enlargements. There was also a large rebate that cinched the decision. The 9000 is truly amazing and I can find no fault other than the cost of the cartridges. It limits the number of prints for me as I am on a fixed income. You are missing a great experience if you can afford and do not buy this printer!Customer Review: Canon pro9000

Wow! I have owned both HP and Epson printers for my digital pictures. Those printers do not compare to this BIG DAWG! yes, it's big takes a lot of space. I Love this printer, it works great, either directly from my canon rebel xti or from the computer running vista. Small or big prints this is a printer for the serious hobby photographer or the professional just getting out. Sets up easy. I have a closet of printers anyone interested, good price. haha. Fantastic printer. Very high print quality, exceptionally quiet, the only noise is the paper being grabbed. There is even a quiet mode (can't imagine why) which I have yet to try, have only printed in normal mode.
Easy setup and install, a USB cable is required and would have been nice if provided with printer.
Only one caveat, this printer is huge and will consume a good deal of desktop space. Mine sits on a file cabinet and is actually slighty bigger than the cabinet.
