I purchased this printer after my wide format Epson completely died on me after months of driving me crazy with print-heads clogging and paper feeding problem (though I did have this printer for almost 5 years with no problems)! Nonetheless, this Cannon Pro 9000 has been nothing less than amazing so far. I am such a sucker for the cartridges that actually LIGHT UP when inserted correctly. The print quality is amazing, it was easy to set up, and it has no problems feeding all kinds of paper (including transparencies). I highly recomment it. Only 'downside' (if you can even call it that) is that the printer is quite large and heavy, but all of its parts (paper feed and tray) fold up nicely when not in use.Customer Review: A Real Pro Printer!

Just setup my Canon Pro 9000 printer this PM and couldn't be happier. The setup following the easy install directions went flawlessly. It took about 20 minutes including doing the print head alignment. I am waiting for a Eye-One monitor calibration device to be delivered, but I thought I would just try one of my high resolution prints from my Canon Rebel Xsi camera on Canon Glossy Photo paper for fun. It was unbelievable! The EasyPhoto Pro software is a cinch to use and it makes me wonder if I really need to spend the $$$$ to purchase a higher end Photo program. I can go right from Digital Photo Professional to EasyPhoto Pro and obtain perfect prints that seem to match my monitor colors already!Customer Review: Awesom, but use the 90 pg "quick start" not the glossy

Fabulous quality (tho only had it a couple of days, can't address the long term stability of the images) but this is really not a printer for the casual pc user to get anywhere near. Now that's legit: it's clearly designed for art studios and pro photo labs. But I did have more trouble setting it up than I was expecting. Hubris, I've been doing this stuff for over 20 years, so I thought I could just use the single oversize glossy "setup" guide. Unfortunately I think that was missing some rather significant required information. I fumbled through it, then looked at the printed 90 page "quick start guide (!) and if I'd actually bothered to RTFM as they say in our industry, yeah, it was all there.Customer Review: Best printer I've owned so far

I guess I've either been lucky or the people who had problems right away are the minority, but the color of my prints are fabulous. Bought it two months ago. I'm an artist and have made prints of my work to sell, 12 x 16 so far, and with the museum quality paper they look perfict. I've always wanted a printer that actually printed the color correctly. All the printers I've owned before were not accurate to various degrees and certainly the color was not as vivid. I'm very happy with the pro 9000. I would recommend this printer to anyone who needs professional quality prints. I also use it when sending pictures of my work to galleries and shows who require photo's instead of slides.Customer Review: Prints amazing photos..but is large

I recieved this printer as a gift from my wishlist a couple days ago. It was much larger then my old printer. I had to rearrange my office space to fit it in. It ended up underneath my desk..too big for my desk top.
Regardless of the size..the print quality is excellent. I've been printing photos for a while with 2 different HP printer and there is no comparison to the Canon Printer.
The best quality I've seen for a home printer. Crisp, clean, color is great. This printer also adjust to larger size images and print paper as well. You can print from a 4x6 to 11x14 and larger sheets. Every image is amazing crisp.
I am truly impressed..
