Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Canon PowerShot A460 5.0MP Digital Camera with 4x Optical Zoom (Silver)Customer Review: great camera for anyone to use and enjoy Summary: 5 Stars
This is a great camera for anyone to use. Its very simple to set up and use, so even the people who just bought their first digital camera can use it with ease. It also allows you to "mess around" with the settings if your a more advanced user. The flash works great. A great feature that this camera has is the option to change the type of picture you want. You can change the settings so you can take still portrait shots, kid & pets shots for moving targets, foliage, beach shots in bright sunlight, take great pics of fireworks, and more. This is a great camera if your a amatuer photographer that just takes pictures at special events for some memories, or if your an advanced photographer looking to take some killer pictures.
Customer Review: I love my Camera! Summary: 5 Stars
I am so happy with my new Canon PowerShot A460 5MP. The picture quality is what you expect from cannon, exceptional. It was easy to learn to use. It does not have automatic stabilization, but don't let that detour you from buying this camera. You can easily select the custom stabilizer that works best for your environment. I use my camera mostly for live music events and ALL of my pictures come out great. No fuzzy, grainy or indistinct pictures. Also very impressive is the video quality. I have a digital video recorder and I chose to use my Canon PowerShot over the old Video recorder. Clear, no lag and clear sound. I will continue to use Canon products in the future.
Customer Review: I love this little camera! Summary: 5 Stars
Admittedly, I'm not much of a photographer but needed to get a camera. I did my research, read the reviews, and selected this model. I have not been disappointed! I have tried many of the features, including video, and have not had any problems. My night-time pictures have turned out great and I am completely pleased with the quality of all the pictures. I was a little nervous about buying a camera that uses AA batteries since I expected battery life to expire really quickly - I've taken hundreds of pictures and a little bit of video and my initial batteries (the ones that came with the camera) haven't died yet!
I highly recommend this camera!!!
Customer Review: Don't look to expensive cameras to get quality Summary: 5 Stars
I have been using my Canon A460 for 10 days now. What I can say about it is that I'm truly satisfied with my purchase. Some days before, I had bought a Canon SD1000 camera but I didn't like it and asked for a refund: too small for my fingers, seemingly too fragile for traveling around because of its compactness. I'm quite pleased with what I bought afterwards: a nice camera, fitting well in your palm, with lots of features, not too long to get used to, well laid out controls, rendering sharp and crisp photos. In some words: really inexpensive for all it can give you. A real bargain!
Customer Review: Good choice, esp. if you want an optical viewfinder Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this as a second camera to carry around (my other one is very bulky). It was a very good deal, especially for the features it has. It takes video with audio, doesn't burn through batteries, zooms nicely, and seems solidly built. The thing that cinched it for me was the optical viewfinder. Almost no entry level cameras have this anymore, and it's really better than an LCD screen in harsh sunlight. The downside is its size. It is not as svelte as some of its competition and is at the upper limit of what fits in my pocket comfortably.
