I bought this camera because it had some good reviews, and the price was right. I've had it just a few weeks, but I'm in love with it. Takes great pictures, simple to load to my PC. You should buy the bigger memory card though, because the one that comes with it only holds about 8 shots. I am still learning, but have gotten some great shots. I don't usually print, but upload to York and get very inexpensive prints in a few days. I like that it takes regular AA bateries. I bought this model for three reasons:
1) it is one of the few digital cameras to retain an optical viewfinder;
2) it is cheap so can be taken to risky places without worrying;
3) it has an above-average optical zoom of 4:1
and it has fulfilled its promise in all three categories.
The photos have not suffered from the clolour distortion mentioned in other reviews, so maybe Canon has fixed that problem in later production.
Overall, a great camera for the price.

I was looking out for a good brand inexpensive camera and came across this A460. This camera is perfect for my day-to-day need. Good quality pictures with 2" LCD. It's awesome. With Canon brand, you can't go wrong! Before this Camera, I had always purchased Sony Cameras, and I think Canon is much better than the Sony's in terms of picture quality. I highly recommend this Camera to any buyer who is looking out for a nice camera with a low price.Customer Review: Great deal!

This is a great camera for the price. Clear pictures, and has a lot of different modes. The movie mode is good too; responds well to fast action, but the picture is not crystal clear for night movies however it is acceptable. This is my second Canon PowerShot camera. They're well made and can take some beating. My first one lasted for years before it broke and I had taken thousands of pictures with it. By then it was time to upgrade anyway.
