I got this camera for my 12 y/o daughter as her first camera and she loves it. It is easy to use and takes great pictures. We liked it so well, we ordered one in red for our other daughter.
If you are looking for a very good, simple camera this is it. We have used Canon for years and have yet to be disappointed.

This little camera is great. Good size, easy to hold and use but small enough to carry easily. I set this camera up without reading the manual, it is that easy! Takes very good pictures and videos. Enjoying the camera, two things we feel would greatly enhance this wonderful camera. 1 More extensive direction of operation. A view finder to accomodate bright light or dark picture taking. Such as with a flashEtc.
