I bought this to replace a Nikon Coolpix that I left in a train station in Spain. I wanted more than 3x zoon, AA batteries, decent picture quality, SD card compatible, and small enough to fit in my shirt pocket. This camera excelled in all those areas. Plus, it was cheaper here than at my local Wal-Mart. Even with the free shipping, it arrived in just a few days. I am completely satisfied. Hardcore shutterbugs will want more bells and whistles, but for my needs this camera is perfect. Peace.Customer Review: Great little camera at a good price

I own several Cannon SLR's and chose the A560 for a point and shoot primarily for my wife. I think Cannon has the most intuitive operating controls & menus of any camera line. The new face detection software really makes it easy to get great people pix even in bright sun / shadows. Using 2GB or larger cards & 640 pixel at 30 f/s, you can even get great short movies only limited by the card size (I've done 15 min with mamory to spare). At 7 mpx, 8x10's are hard to distinguish from my 8mpx SLR.Customer Review: Great Camera, Great Deal

The camera arrived in 2 days from J&R Music World. We have already taken a bunch of pics of the kids and it is much FASTER than our old Olympus. Didn't miss a single shot. We haven't tried all the modes yet but the initial impression is very good. The resolution is easy to change and stays where it was last set, again unlike the old Olympus. The shutter reaction time and the resolution setting were two of the most inportant features for a new camera purchase, the A560 has them covered.Customer Review: LOVE THIS CAMERA!

This is my 3rd digital camera in 3 years. The other two broke (one was dropped - one just stopped working). This is my first Canon, and I will never buy a different brand now. This camera is so easy and fun to use. The pics turn out great. I can't believe the zoom capabilities. I have a 3 yr old daughter, so the kids and pets function is a great feature for me. We took the camera on a trip to FL, and the beach function came in handy, too. You can't go wrong with this camera.Customer Review: Great camera

I purchased this camera from Amazon. I got a free re-chargable battery pack with the purchase of this camera ($40 Value). This camera is just the right size. Some of the other cameras were so small, my fingers would push buttons while I was trying to hold it.
We upgraded from a Gateway camera we purchased 5 years ago...what a difference. There is very little shutter lag, and the pictures were very crisp and clear. I am really pleased with this camera.
