I can't get into any of the technical merits of this camera because I have no idea what any of it means. What i can tell you is that for an amateur to photography this camera is great! I bought it for my trip to Hawaii. It's easy to use and the pictures are amazing. You'll need to use rechargeable batteries and carry extras with you, but it's actually worth it since you can just recharge them. I really like this camera and recommend it if you just need to take pictures and are looking for something easy to use.
