The camera arrived quickly but does not come with a memory card so we couldn't us it until we figured out which memory card we needed...this was another $30. Camera seems to work fine although we haven't used it enough to judge the battery life. Great picture quality and the video mode picture is fantastic! BUT, I purchased this one to replace my other. The lens went out on my other one and everything looked blurry. I had that one for about a year. My one prior to that had the same problems...I used my camera daily for work purposes, but I really got my moneys worth out of it! I've been a Kodak customer since the inception of digital cameras but with this purchase I'm a convert! I'm not a professional photographer, nor do I play one on TV, but it's sooo easy to get high quality photos (by my standards) out of this camera in any lighting and at any speed. I had a canon before this and I love Canon's! They are easy to use and their picture quality is the best. The only part I don't like on this is that if you have the setting on AUTO sometimes the pictures come out blurry so normally i keep it programed. We previously had a Cannon G3 and loved the quality of pics and the color rendition, but it is a larger camera and cant put it in shirt pocket and heavy for purse. This one is a lot smaller, quality pics, larger lcd, easy to use, and has image stabilization. So far, we love it. Does not come with memory card so get one and an extra battery.
