I got this camera to replace my old Canon digital elph SD510. I am really pleased with this camera. The recycle time is the biggest improvement as well as the image quality and great image stability. The facial recognition is excellent and quick. I even found that it will recognize a face on a TV screen. The battery life is also greatly improved and extra batteries are easy to find online. With a 4 GB chip you can take 700 pictures or so, plenty for most of us. Overall great little camera for the money.Customer Review: Great Camera

After using this camera for the last three weeks.I have to said this is great camera.After using a Canon sd 200 for the last five years (Great Camera)this is a more improved version.Its a very quick camera,the auto feature works very well as the red eye correction,picture quality is excellent and the image estabilization work great.
I will recomend this camera to everyone looking for a great camera.I bought it in Amazon at a good price thr delivery was very good as the over all service.

I purchased the Canon Power Shot SD1200IS camera during Thanksgiving time. Based on so many good reviews and right price ($149). I decide to order it. Wait for a little bit longer to get it because the color I picked was in back order.
I specially like the continuous shot function. It take me sometime to figure it out (need to push the shot bottom all the time during shots). I ususlly don't read manual and like to figure it out myself. Anyway, it is an excellent buy.

All I wanted was a simple, easy to use camera that had a view finder like a old "film" type. I am farsighted and the viewfinders that are screens are impossible for me to use without my reading glasses - and with reading glasses, I can't see far! I also had no use for a lot of features. All I wanted was a camera that took high quality pictures and was not so small that I might mistake it for a credit card! My son did some research and came up with this camera. It's perfect.
