So far the camera has performed OK, although I have not had time to test it thoroughly. The problem I had was the shipping time. I selected standard shipping, which is listed as 3-5 business days. That would have been plenty of time (with room to spare) for what I wanted, which was to use it for my son's birthday party and both kids' baptisms. Unfortunately, it took almost 3 weeks to receive it! Not sure what happened, but that was too late for both events; very disappointing.Customer Review: Horrible Focus

Normally I am a big fan of Canons but this model is horrible. The pictures are always out of focus and the image quality is so poor not nearly as good as some of the older models. No matter what you do, close ups, far away they all take crummy pictures. I bought this camera right before my wedding and almost every picture was out of focus. Some I didnt even realize until I uploaded it and saw some of the close ups of my daughter came out horrible. Dont waste your money.Customer Review: sd1200i

Net Net I was totally disappointed with this camera. I was expecting incredible looking photos every time I pushed the button. At least half the pictures came out bad. The pictures were either blurry or dark. I have seen better cheep cell phone pictures. And the instruction booklet is a joke. Good luck on trying to resize your photos. The booklet was not written for consumers. This is just another classic case of paying for a name and receiving an inferior product.Customer Review: Not very good - disappointing buy

I don't really like this camera at all. The pictures I got on it are too bright and I did compare the same pictures taken at the same time with other Cannon cameras and the ones taken on this are far inferior. The colors are very washed-out and the contrast isn't good either. It also takes a lot longer to take pictures and focusing takes longer. this is the worst camera i ever bought,one buys camera for picture quality, and it lacks the same, my earlier 3.1pixel nikon camera is better than this.all the images are blurred for no reason.
