I love this camera. Originally, I purchased the SD210IS but it was too complicated for me. This has some of the same features and the same quality pics. Lots of pictures with little noise. I am getting rid of mine, but only because I've learned to use all the features and I'm upgrading to the original one I bought and I'm giving this one to my fave sister. BTW, don't waste money on extra batteries from Best Buy or locally, you can order an extra battery on Amazon for about $3.00 and stores have them for about $35!Customer Review: Great Camera

Had a Sony Cyber-shot for years, read tons of reviews online and landed on this one. I didn't realize how washed out and color drained my pictures were until i started seeing the images taken with this camera. Very lifelike.... as in, you take a picture and most of the time it will look exactly as it does to your human eyes. It does a great job of capturing the lighting and the white balance. I purchased this camera after my old Olympus was ready to retire after roughly 10 years. Which is a testiment to the Olympus name years ago, I didnt feel the newer models were made as well. After researching for a camera that met my needs by today's technology standards, I choose the Canon. It is very easy to use, great response in bright and darker lighting while small enough to fit in your pocket. I have been buying Sony CyberShots for a few years and borrowed a friends canon 1400 and was shocked by the improved difference in quality of pictures...I ended up buying my own canon sd1400 IS. Great, sleek camera that takes excellent pictures. The only downside is the door that needs to be popped open to access the plug to download photos's is a little strange. Other, than this...highly recommend it for the price... go to wal-mart though...it is only $150 instead of at target and amazon. cheers.Customer Review: Small, Compact, Lightweight camera

When I was in market for a good camera, first thing I was looking for was a camera with DSLR quality (or close to it) but not as bulky. I am not much photography enthusiastic but like to take good pictures when we are out. This camera definitely fits the bill. Picture quality is great, its really small and light weight so no need to carry in a case. I am not even planning to buy a case. Its smaller than my iPhone so whenever we go out I keep it in my pocket.
Works like a charm.
