Had the camera for about a year. Was overall happy with it, but the moving parts started to wear out on me. The flash would start getting stuck and then one day I got the infamous "Lens Error". This made the camera unusable. While it lasted the camera was nice, but I couldn't recommend it.Customer Review: JUNK

Bought this camaera for my wife for Christmas It has never worked right. Cammera freezes in the open position and will not turn off until I removed the battery. I got my Canon SX 200IS on February 2010 and it stopped working today (November 2010) without any reason. It gives an error "Lens problem, restart the camera" and Canon company charges 94$ to repair it. I don't know what to do.
