This product performs as advertised. This is an upgrade of my previous Canon (PowerShot A530)--I have never been disappointed by a Canon photo product. This one arrived in perfect condition, and I have been able to simply and successfully connect via the same USB cable to the existing Canon download program/software, which works just fine. I'm exploring the newer camera features, though I'm not much of a photographer, more like a snapshot devotee. Camera is easy, but also offers some more complicated functions for those folks who are so inclined.Customer Review: camera review

I bought this camera through Amazon - via TechNow - and I love it! It takes amazing photos and has all sorts of options that are easy to learn and use. If you are looking for a terrific little camera that you can take anywhere with you, and get great photos, indoors and out, this is the one to buy. And the option of the viewfinder is a great enhancement for sunny days when the monitor screen is hard to view through. And here is a tip - you can buy this camera right off the shelf at Target for $149.Customer Review: I want one too!!

I bought this camera for my daughter's sixteenth birthday. She loves it! The picture and video quality is great. I wanted the camera to be small enough to carry in a purse, but not so small that your hand engulfs the camera when you take a picture. This camera is the perfect size. There are lots of scene options to play with and lots of great features to help you get the best pictures possible. We added a 4 GB memory card and two rechargeable batteries. I bought this camera as a birthday gift for my daughter who wanted a small "point and shoot" to carry to her son's events without having to haul her big camera. She says it is truly "point and shoot" with the added bonus of making great pictures. It is so small and light weight that she just keeps it in her purse and always has it with her. I chose it because it had good reviews, is fully automatic, and has surprisingly advanced features for as inexpensive as it was. She loves it!
