Customer Review: No more 10 second delay mode to get into the shot

Bought the remote just before the holidays to compliment my growing array of gadgets for my Canon T1i. I'm thrilled that I was actually (for the first time) a subject in my won holiday shots. Now maybe my children and grandchildren will remember what I looked like in 2010. I chose this product over the cable release for that very purpose and I am thrilled with the results. I'm not sure what the range of operation is because it never failed indoors. You have roughly a minute or so to snap the first shot otherwise you'll need to refocus to re-enable the remote. Recovery time was excellent even with my flash mounted. The remote never slowed me down. Battery life is great too. I took hundreds of shots this Christmas and it still works fine. I highly recommend this product for the $. It is a no brainer if you want to be included in some of your family shots / portraits. Wish I'd bought one last year. I no longer have to set the delay and rush to pose for the shot. Just pose and snap off several shots. Your more apt to get a more natural or candid shot.
