The Canon Sure Shot 85 Zoom date (platinum) kit provides the casual photographer with a maximum array of features in a sleek, ultracompact design. An advanced three-point, 280-step Smart Autofocus system quickly and concisely identifies and focuses on the main subjects of your shot. The power zoom ratio, controlled by two oversized buttons, is located in the front for convenience and quick access. The built-in lens cap opens and closes automatically, allowing for simple user operation and making the Sure Shot 85 Zoom perfect for beginners.Its 38-85mm (2.2x) power zoom lens lets you select the composition that you want. The 38mm is great for wide-angle shots, group scenes, or landscapes, while 85mm is ideal for intimate portraits and close-ups. Or set it somewhere in between--this camera's zoom selection makes it easy to capture the moment. The ultrafast Real Time shutter setting is ideal for capturing sports or other action shots. Whatever the situation, Canon's three-point Autofocus produces sharp, dramatically vivid photos every time.
To help you remember special events, a date imprint feature is available. Five flash modes provide balanced and accurate lighting to your scene, whether you are inside or outdoors. These flash modes also enhance the creative control you have over the shot. For example, the slow-sync flash mode adjusts the flash and shutter speed in order to reveal both background and foreground subjects with perfect clarity. The Canon Sure Shot 85 also comes with a self-timer, red-eye reduction, and automatic film load, advance, and rewind. Green and orange LED indicators, located in the viewfinder, inform users of acceptable or warning conditions.
