I just got my A540 camera with its waterproof case last week, so I haven't had a lot of time to test it, therefore I cannot give it 5 stars yet. However, I must say that I was surprised by the quality of construction and attention to details. All the important buttons and wheels are fully accessible, the seals feel very well adjusted, and the camera fits perfectly inside. A small tube of silicone grease for the o-rings is also provided. The case also comes with a flash diffuser and a hood to improve LCD display visibility underwater: both click-on very neatly to the main case.
My girlfriend is looking forward to our next remote island trip, and I just can't wait to put this camera to the test among some serious fish!

This product does what it's supposed to do. It protects your Canon point-and-shoot in the wet and underwater. Just don't expect to get professional-looking photos underwater unless you're willing to invest in an external flash system. But for underwater snapshots, it's an inexpensive and good-quality answer.
Only one problem: I've never been able to get the zoom to work. The knob doesn't mate well with the zoom ring on the camera. However, underwater, you'll want to have it zoomed all the way to wide-angle, anyway.
By the way, it also works for earlier Canon point-and-shoots with the same basic shape and layout, although it won't allow you to work the buttons on the back.
