Comparing this product to other laserprinter I used before, this printer is very quite while it's in energy-saving mode (it go saving mode while you don't use it for a minute). Moreover, while you print something, the first page show up in 10 secs. I choose this one because of its 2-side printing function, and after testing it, I think this one whould be a one of the best ROI (Return on Investment) one I bought before.
If you need 2-side printing & once a while copy/fax function, this product should fits you need. I have not yet test its FAX function because I don't need it.
Anyway, I think this printer worth its price. By the way, I use Windows Vista, so I believe it is vista compatible.

I bought this printer about three months ago and have used it for scanning, copying and printing. I have used a number of HP printers for the home and small office in the past. The functionality of this printer would be hard to beat. I have not enountered any software delays, as seems to occur with the lower-priced HP scanners, and the Canon MF4150 allows for easy scanning into PDF format. The print quality is terrific and the pages come out quickly. As other reviewers have said, the printer is quiet and does well in standby mode. I would highly recommend this printer, especially based upon the fact that Dell, HP and others are peddling low quality lasers that only handle printing for $100.Customer Review: Great price, very easy to use

I bought this all-in-one for my parents small business and helped them set it up. They are in their 50s and didn't jump on the tech-wagon in the 90s, so you could imagine that I was a bit worried they weren't going to be able to operate the machine. I was wrong. First of all setting up the all-in-one took about 10minutes total to set up from entering the ink density level, to inputting the fax number/s, etc. And I don't consider myself a very tech savvy person. The instructions were very very simple and my parents were able to pick up on how to use the machine on the first day, which says a lot.
I highly recommend this to the small business owner or for the home office.

I bought the MF4150 mainly for printing (I have fax machines, scanners)
I was very interested in the two sided print feature since I have a print project that comes up ever September that requires a ton of two sided printing. Unfortunatley I couldn't find many reviews where they reported on the two sided print features.
I've owned this for about 6 weeks but the project finaly came up and I really got to put it to the test. It will more than cut my time in half, The two sided printing works flawlessly. So far a few thousand two sided pages and not one jam.
Can't comment on the other features since I do not use them

Had a Canon ink jet all in one machine, liked it but it stopped scanning about a year after I got it. I don't need color printing, just fast, good copies,faxing and scanning. The MF4150 was exactly what I needed. It does a great job and suites my needs perfectly.It has a much more solid build quality than the more home use class that Canon puts out. I also would suggest that the published print times are in no way comparable, even though the 2 machines are both rated at 28 ppm b&w. The MF4150 is much faster, and better print quality. Amazon provided timely shipping and at no cost! Can't believe this product is as good as it is at this price.
